1) Go with two-handed weapons. if you've got the cash, get the dual wield skill (after an initial charge, swapping to dual can build up some decent rage), but go with two handers as your main weapon; a lot of warrior skills utilize wpn dmg and ignore weapon speed (which is why the Arcanite Reaper, a very slow 2-h axe, is the hardest-hitting warrior weap in the game -- when you spec your talents for it

). Carry a shield, but never use it unless you're tanking for a group.
2) Keep your weapons up to date. If you need crafting-help, speak out. If your weapon's way behind your level, you will struggle (from personal experience)
3) Learn and use 1st aid -- a lot. You have a countdown timer known as the rage bar. The longer between fights, the worse your average DPS per fight.
4) Avoid protection
Protection hurts your DPS, and levelling is all about DPS. I've always been protection-specced, but Sabre was originally built as a "run w/ Dhrydan and Pallus" character, became a "guild tank" character, and so I accepted the gimping (until 50+, when protection finally gets some dps love in tiers 6 & 7).
5) Talent suggestions:
Start with Fury's Cruelty (+1% to crit, up to %5). there, that got you thru lvl 14.
After that, you move over to the Arms tree. You want 5 in tactical management, but that's a 2nd tier skill, so put 5 points somewhere (I suggest 3 in improved rend and 2 in deflection; more dps and a little defense).
Go ahead and toss lvl 25's point into anger management. It also helps with leveling (slows the rage bar countdown timer).
After that? either power towards the Arms tree's Mortal strike, or Fury's blood thirst. To me, Arms is more of a "battle stance" tree, while Fury ties in better with "Berserker". However, at that point, it's all up to you.
6) Don't worry that you've gimped your tanking ability. From what I've read, non-protection warriors tank just fine when they aren't in the raid-lvl IDs. They sacrifice a bit of survivability and an easier time in agro managment, but for the push to lvl 60, it's worth it (DPS is, after all, king).
