We have a lot of up and coming Death Knights, as well as some already at 80. It occured to me that it might benefit the guild, as either a jumping off place or your raiding spec if you don't want to go do the research yourself. This is far from gospel, just my $0.02 USD.

I am currently Blood/Unholy with a 2-hander.  I was Frost/Unholy dual wield before 3.1, but that is really a fringe and ineffective build now from my perspective.

Also the last caviat I will add is that blood tends to start out pacing a frost or unholy build when you start get two pieces of tier-7 gear and all the badge gear you can get ahold of. But it is fun and can bring some good group/raid buffs even if you're not pounding out the DPS. Above all, you will be more successfull playing the spec you find the most fun. So do what makes you happy.

Now, on to the meat.

My Spec: 51/0/20 - WoW Head Talent Calculator
Major Glyphs: Dark Death, Death Strike, and Rune Tap.
Minor Glyphs: Raise Dead, Horn of winter, and Pestilence

Blood presence, and Rune of the Fallen Crusader.

Rotation Macro:
Your first time through it will be rough. You will be waiting on runes and things might seem clunky. After your first rotation, it smoothes out and you will just spend your time giggling maniacally at the four and five digit crits.

/castsequence reset=1 Plague Strike, Icy Touch, Heart Strike, Heart Strike, Death Strike, Death Coil, Death Strike, Heart Strike, Heart Strike, Heart Strike, Heart Strike, Death Coil, Death Coil

Buff "zomg wtf bbq lollerskates" macro:
Have "auto self cast" on. [Options] => [Interface] => [Combat] => Auto Self Cast

/castsequence reset=1 Horn of Winter, Blood Tap, Hysteria, Dancing Rune Weapon, Raise Dead

The way I use these two macros is that as I'm coming up on the boss, I hit the buff macro once. That will cast horn of winter and give you ten extra runic power. You roll through your rotation once and stop before you reach your first power dump int he second time through your rotation, so you shoudl have 100 runic power. Beat on your buff macro furiously until a ghoul pops up so you now have cast horn of winter (makes sure you have the buff, as well as adding runic power), cast Blood tap (Ensuring as many death runes as possible, smoothing out your rotation for sure),  cast Hystaria (Increasing damage you do by 20%, at the cost of 30% health over the 30 second duration. Easily recovered by the damage you're doing with blood aura), cast Dancing Rune Weapon (It does 50% of the damage you do, including the additional 20% from hysteria), and finally brings up a ghoul to fight by your side a while.

Do your tank a favor and don't lead off with this macro, even if you have the runic power. You will be doing about as much damage as you are capable for about 30 seconds, and that might piss them off and will likely end in your death.

I save Empowered Rune Weapon and Rune Tap for "Oh sh*t" buttons instead of macroing them. I feel they are best used to save a tank's life, or to pick up tanking responsibilites when I have to on the fly, than to use and possibly waste.

I reserve the right to come back and add more or change something, but will add a note about having done so. I know I'm going to have forgoten something.

I did not intend for it to be so wide. Sorry.
