4) Please post the following information so we can get to know you better (whatever amount of detail you are comfortable with):

I'm 33, married, father of two. I work for a big evil national bank. I squeeze WoW in when I find the time, maybe an hour or two on the weeknights, more on the weekends if the wife lets me. Since she lets me watch all the football I want during the NFL season, I'm OK with limits on my gaming time.

My first MMORPG was EverQuest, which I played actively from 1999 to 2005, although it seems like much longer. I played a Dark Elf magician on the Quellious server. I did the hardcore attendance-mandatory uber raid guild thing for a while, and two things I learned were 1) I don't have that kind of time for a game and 2) when the game becomes about the loot, it's not as much fun. I began playing WoW casually about three years or so ago. I love the Hunter class, as I'm a pet-class junkie and hunter can't be beat in that respect.

What's important about a guild to me...to be honest, I like the green text. I like the joking and chatting, having people to talk to while I play, even if I'm not in a group with them at the time. I'm looking for a guild that's friendly to casual players. I'm probably never going to raid; I can't make the time commitment for that. I would like to run heroics now and then with people that I know and enjoy playing with. I like to help my guildies out when I can, and enjoy receiving help if I need it. I want to be associated with people who recognize that this is a game, and games are for having fun. Fighting over virtual loot or the contents of the guild bank make me sad.

6) Have you been in other guilds on our server? Which ones?
(We have cross-guild recruiting agreements with allied guilds that may have to be considered)

I was a member of Defenders of the Brew when I first started playing. Most recently I was a member of Praetorian Guards. I left the Praetorians because I took a few months off when my son was born, and when I came back, everyone I knew was no longer around. Being a stranger in your own guild is not so much fun.
