I have been having some urgent health issues, and Kemel suggested I make a post about it. So here we go, a timeline on what has been going on.

Friday:
I got two wisdom teeth pulled out of the left side of my mouth.
Hurt, but no big deal.

Saturday:
I am slightly swollen and I hurt.
This is normal so I am not concerned.

Sunday:
I am quite a bit more swollen, and a bit more in pain. Nothing too crazy, but It's getting concerning.

Monday:
At about 4am I am woken up by body shaking pain. I feel like my jaw is burning and there is a intense pressure. I take double my normal dose of Vicodin, and in about an hour am able to go to sleep. I am doped up all day, but finally call my dentist. Unfortunately I call ten minutes later than they are open. I keep totally numbed out through the raid and then to bed.

Tuesday:
Woke up in a lot of pain, so call the dentist again. They ask me some questions and tell me to come in that afternoon. I drive down to the dentist, and they are quite concerned. "I am so glad you came in. If you would have let this go you might have died in your sleep tonight." was what they told me. There was the beginning of Cellulitis around the swollen area. I am given a prescription, had the swollen area evacuated, and told that if I didn't feel gobs better by 5, I had to go to the ER. At 5 I felt worse than I had ever felt, and had my big brother drive me to the ER.

In the ER I am given 20mg of Morphine, a bag of IV antibiotics, and a CT scan. The ER confirmed that the issue was pressing and my likelihood of surviving another 24 hours without medical help would have been slim. Cellulitis had been spreading down my neck. Proof that the infection was on its way into my body in rapid order, having spread at two inches per hour.

Resting at my my mother's house, I find out my great grandmother of 97 years old has passed away from a massive stroke.

Wednesday (Today):
I am still feeling pain and the swelling is considerable. But it isn't quite as bad as it was Yesterday. I'm suffering some side effects of of the drugs. I'm dopey and spacey from taking Vicodin so long, have heart burn and hiccups from the antibiotics, and still am getting the sweats and chills. I am heading out to work now, but have no idea if I will end up in the hospital again today or not. I am in good spirits though, and doing better than you might expect.

WOW!! I most definitley did not have this problem when I got all four pulled and the person supposed to watch me till the drugs wore off had taken me home and dropped me off! I hope you are better now, that is the scariest thing I have heard happening in a wisdom tooth extraction. o_O Also sorry to hear about your grandmother. I know it never get easy and you will always miss them but I hope you feel better soon. Just keep going into the barn and hugging that foal of yours though she is prob big right now :) (saw the pic on forums wish I could hug it...the horse)
