Martin finally finished writing Book 4 and it is moving into production!!!

It looks like 'A Feast for Crows' has a release date of November 8. Anyone else pre-ordering? Anyone know or care what I'm talking about?

George R. R. Martin writes a sci-fi and fantasy books. He's been writing a series that I've really gotten into 'Story of Fire and Ice', I think. It's set in a War of the Roses England era world - nice intrigue and he's not afraid to cut his main characters down like the harvest corn. He's to fantasy what I used to think of Clive Barker to the horror genre.

I like him especially because he's doing this series as a pair of trilogies - no 13-book series with no end in sight. He wrapped up his first trilogy 'Game of Thrones', 'Clash of Kings', and 'Storm of Swords'; and he's finally releasing the first book of the next trilogy 'A Feast for Crows' with his next one ('Dance of Dragons') to be out in the next couple years.

Highly recommend him if anyone is looking for a book (or two or three) to read this summer.
