Herrium; take the tram to ironforge and wander the snow-covered lands there. Earthroot's along mountain ridges, silverleaf abounds... and peacebloom's not that hard to find either -- but it likes open plains

Sabre (70 warrior)
Sceptre (70 warlock)
Thornkiss (70 priest)
Chibi (62 rogue)
and a slew of others, 9 - 53

You must have checked Ellwynn Forest right after someone went through and cleared it, cause all that stuff grows like weeds there. Like the others said, Dun Morogh (sp?) (the zone outside IF) is also ripe with the stuff.

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but you do have Find Herbs active don't you?  That turns on the herb-radar so they show up on your mini-map.

Silverleaf and peacebloom are at the bottom of the herbalism "tree" so you can start picking them from the get go.
But I think you have to have your herbalism up to either 75 or 100 to be able to collect earthroot.
