So I'm building up a very large store of DE materials I've built up over the past year, and I'm also needing to start skilling up my enchanting skills.
So I'm thinking of trying to peddle my skills for what I do have in the cities and using a market value - 10% on the material cost off traditional AH prices. But I was wondering if anyone had a sort of 'buyer/seller' guide for the materials - what they typically sell for on the AH - at least prices that will realistically sell for...not some of those outrageous prices you see. |

| What with the expansion coming out prices have been sinking and in flux, so you really have to watch the market closely unfortunately... old prices are kind of out of sync now. |

I agree with Kemel.
Here's my recommendation: You're going to be grinding through the mats to level up enchanting. There's no avoiding that. If you can get something for them, anything really, then you are saving some of your money. Enchanting gets wickedly expensive for the last 30-40 points before you hit 300.
Instead of finding the perfect fair market price, i'd honestly recommend spamming that you will do the enchants for free and then take tips from people. Like I said, you're going to burn up the mats anyway, it's called a "sunk cost" in accounting. So anything you get in return is a good return on the investment.
You'll get work faster and feel more like your mats are not a total waste if you are putting enchants on player items. Most of my enchanting grinding I did on a couple stupid grey items. It really was a total waste :-) I just enchanted and re-enchanted the same grey over and over to skill up. I was more often pressed for time, so I didn't bother waiting to use every single enchant on a actual player's gear. |
