My alche (Ashallar) is up to 250 and trying to find recipes for the higher potions so far the only ones I've picked up are the transmute arcanite and mongoose potions so if you see any really good deals on some of the ones the guild needs let me know. I've seen you usually need the fire protection potions, any others I should keep a look out for?
If any of you 300 Alchemists know of some prime herb spots feel free to share, I just got to Feralas hoping for enough Sungrass to get me above 280
Oh yeah, I'm still only 45 so don't go telling me to farm the Crater |

At level 45, you will probably have a hard time farming the herbs yourself to max alchemy. I didn't stress about it so much. I farmed for herbs in the zones I was using to level up. When I could skill up in alchemy with what I had, I did that. Otherwise, I waited until I was higher level and in a zone with more advanced herbs.
It's been a long time, but it would seem to me that you would have to at least be able to run around Un'goro safely to max Alchemy. Probably even need to be in the Plaguelands (Eastern and Western). |

| Don't remember what level it takes to pick and when you stop getting xp from it...but what i did to level emmy's herbs was go around all the little ruins in tanaris and pick purple lotus. you can make a big loop around the zone hitting all the ruins and usually by the time you get back to the start they have started respawning (or they did for me anyway, but i usually take the long way around anywhere i go...gnomish sense of direction and all). You can usually runacross firebloom (i think that is the name) on your way in between the ruins. |

| Lvl 60 with herbalism fueling my lvl 37 alchemist will get you to 300 real quick. A good place to farm for some good selling herbs is swamp of sorrows you will find a lot of blindweed there and fade leaf as well. Honestly I've been noticing resource drops are gettig scarcer recently I don't know if that is due to commercial farming or regular farming. Hinterlands is another Herb rich drop area as well |
