It seems everyone I run into (in-guild) they are an armorsmith.  How many Armorsmithes do we have?!?! I am willing to change my prof to weaponsmith if needed, i didnt complete the armorsmith quest yet so I was just wondering.

My paladin is an armorsmith. I'm probably going to drop it for engineering or something else though. I really love the idea of making armor, crafting and in particular armor crafting hasn't really delivered for me. I saw the allegedly new armorsmith recipes in TBC. They look all fine and dandy for tanking warriors, but they just don't look so good for paladins.

So anyway, Tref the Paladin is an armorsmith, but I plan on dropping that and have never been really active in it anyway.

My warrior is an Armorsmith also (only at ~260 though) I'm considering dropping it for something else due to the large amount of armorsmiths already here. That and it really isn't making me any money. Might go enchanting just so I can de some stuff.

Jeid should stick with it if she is having fun. I think she collected a bunch of the recipes.

Hmm, perhaps I should get into mace or polearms and something like... hammers, Where would one go to even get into those specific proffesions?

There's armorsmith and weaponsmith. Weaponsmith has 3 additional breakdowns: swords, axes, maces.

If i remember right, you go to winterspring and do a quest for 1 of 3 NPCs there -- and bam, you're a swordsmith, axesmith, or macesmith. You can only be one

Sabre (70 warrior)
Sceptre (70 warlock)
Thornkiss (70 priest)
Chibi (62 rogue)
and a slew of others, 9 - 53

Is it possible yet to change out your specilization? I saw some comments saying if you drop it completely and relevel it up you can change your choice due to a recent patch and I saw others saying it will be possible in BC to change it. I was hoping to change it to something other than armorsmith since it seems there are a lot of those in guild.

Ok, I dropped it and now I need to get it back up. Which type of smith are we lacking or have very few of? Hammersmith?

I am 300 Armorsmith and love it. I took Armorsmithing so I could make my DI chest piece which is a bop when its made. Meaning I make it and I'm the only one that can wear it. No regrets here If anyone needs anything made, feel free to contact me. I dont keep a lot of mats on hand so you will need to get mats, but I dont charge to make anything.
