Well, we were in Chantilly, VA. and won a spot in the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge Eastern Qualifier to be held in Orlando, FL. on April 25th and 26th.   It will probably be televised on ESPN sometime in the fall.  So I guess I need to get a bunch of time off to head down there.  Colby won with a 19' jump, which doesn't seem like a huge jump but it was off a dock half as long as normal into a pool that was only 28' long and a little more narrow than usual.  We can't believe that he actually won.  So off to the Central Florida Fair we go.  Not looking forward to the long drive.

Looks like this will be aired on July 27th, 2-3pm Eastern on ESPN2 and August 3rd 2-3 Eastern ESPN2.

We drove down to Florida from Connecticut with only 2 dogs this time since Purina would only allow competing or walk-on dogs to be in the area.  Colby did well and our other dog Parker got a walk-on spot (won't tell you the results).  They also had a rule where only one handler could jump one dog so I had to handle Parker during his jumps.  So now both my wife and I should be on television.
