Yeah, I know it's not a new idea, but has anyone tried soul link? I was MD/ruin for a while and enjoyed it, but in pvp and pve this build seems like it would do very nicely. The only thing I am worried about is the lack of range. 36 yards to 30 yards is a big difference. Please look it over and let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks
Mere

I've never tried it before but I hear you live forever... which I suppose you would have too since you won't be doing much damage :-)

I've been 23/5/23 forever now and I think I've finally got the gear to give up my 15% stamina bonus and pick up Shadow Mastery instead... so I'll be 30/0/21.

SM/Ruin to me seems to be the best option as in raids you can pump out sick damage, grind just fine when you need to, and be vaible in PvP.

I don't know... I just don't like the demonolgy tree... but that's just me I guess.

Also, I've heard rumors that the succy sac and res is going to be nerfed soon... that would really make the demonology tree suck.

Good point!  Plus I have tried my hand at pvp as of late and seem to do pretty awesome(if I do say so myself) just running around DOTing everything that moves and let my felhunter eat them up.

Very little down time too!  If they fixed the Succubus sac/rez that would make demonology a lot less appealing. It maybe be different in raids for the horde since no pally blessings.

what about this one:

Demonology (33 points)

5/5 Demonic Embrace
3/3 Improved Voidwalker
2/5 Fel Intellect
3/3 Improved Succubus
1/1 Fel Domination
5/5 Fel Stamina
2/2 Master Summoner
5/5 Unholy Power
1/1 Demonic Sacrifice
5/5 Master Demonologist
1/1 Soul Link

Destruction (18 points)

5/5 Improved Shadow Bolt
5/5 Bane
2/2 Improved Lash of Pain
5/5 Devastation
1/1 Shadowburn

according to one warlock website, super-succubus has been clocked at 250 sustained dps all by her lonesome. This build bumps up her melee damage by 33% and lash damage by 166%. That, and you still get the good stuff from destruction (except ruin, which i've always frowned upon as it's mostly used as a "Mine's bigger than yours!" ability, and can cause aggro issues in a class with no "aggro off" button). And, of course, for as long as the sac/rez thing is still working, you're golden
