Im looking to redue some of the skills Virbius uses. I kinda like this build for all around AOE and DPS. Tell me what you guys think about this.

Im especially interested in the IMPACT (10% chance to stun for 2 secs)skill area of the fire tree. Would this be useful against bosses or are they usually immune to this?

Also which is better cold snap or ice block?

cant help much with the fire stuff since Emmy always has and always will be a frost mage. As far as cold snap or iceblock...hmm that's a tough call...personally i probably use iceblock more because it is nice to have an instant agro dump(also works really good on the baron in mc), however coldsnap gives you all of your frost spells that were on cooldown back, which can come in handy too if you need to refrost nova something, etc. (also works really well with iceblock in the baron fight in case you are the bomb twice during the fight). Luckily being frost, I didnt have to choose and on a side note...ice barrier rocks now

Frost will always be my first love as a mage but like you I did delve into the Fire talents.   I am 40frost/11fire/0arcane.  I have Incenerate (fire) and Impact (fire) with some improved Fireballs thrown in.  I love the stun effect Impact has.  I stun more often than I thought I would.  It says 10% chance.  I think it happens more in the 25-33% chance.  I elected to go Fire secondly because most all of my FR gear adds hit points to my Fire spells.
As far as Bosses go, I do not recall doing any special effect damage on one without getting the dreaded message for dummies "IMMUNE" flash on my screen.  Still worth a try though!!

i like my spec of 0arcane/33fire/18frost....its does a lot of damage and still does plenty for mc i was fully frost until 60 and realized it wasnt doing what i wanted it to outside of MC (where i dont live). lol

The Orange Kittens are the best.
