Gatherer is the mod that remembers where you found stuff.
I've had good success with GatherShare. It uses a comm channel to share your new finds with anyone else using the mod. You also get new finds from other people added to your database.
Other than that, there is no secret to finding where the herbs are. You have to scout around at least once and find them yourself. Some of us know the spawn locations of rich thorium and black lotus... but you'll have to be inducted into the club before we can tell you :-). |

Still no easy button!!!!

Seriously thanks for the information. I didn't think there were alot of mods for gathering but it never hurts to ask. Will search for this Gathershare you speak of.

After I read this...
"UPDATE: Sorry about the recent downtime, folks. My hosting provider crapped out recently, but I took up a contract for a year w/Godaddy, and plan to keep on supporting this site for as long as I'm alive (I make bling bling as a web dev now, so I'm fine for hosting cash). Maybe one day I'll even re-do it so it doesn't look like it was done by a retarded 9 yr old. Anyway, on with the guide"
I was compelled to read even more!
Not a bad guide, thanks! Has mining changed any at all, since this guide dates to- 'June 1st, 2005'? |
