When the Burning Crusades is released I am going with a
41/10/10 talent template. I wanted to go
deep into one tree (like needing hip waders), but still get some solid talents
in the other 2 trees. Here’s what I plan
to do if the current talents do not change:
CHARM (41) Unexpected Comments (5/5): Using subtle wit to surprise your enemy with
silly and unexpected comments. Criticals
can stun the opponent or make them blow their drink out their nose with a
sudden burst laughter.
Tolerate Beerboot’s Singing (5/5): You are naturally
immune to background noises. This gives
you +50% to temporarily ignore the effects of spontaneous renditions of the
Magical Trevor song.
Jedi Mind Tricks (5/5): You can pretend to have Jedi mind control
powers. Yeah, I know it’s the wrong
genre. It’s still fun to try.
Annoying Tells (1/1):
Requires 5/5 Jedi Mind Tricks. If
Jedi Mind Tricks fail you can send an annoying tell instead asking someone to
do something for you or for the guild.
Quirky but Fun (5/5):
Nobody “gets” what you are talking about half the time, but they
tolerate you anyway and might pretend to laugh at your dumb jokes to make you
feel better.
Signature Quirk (5/5): There’s something odd about you, in a good
way…mostly
Random Association (3/3): There’s a 75% chance that
your character or avatar will be associated with something for no reason at all
– like Jureal stealing cookies or Jeidynzon getting blown up by fire bats. Requires 5/5 Signature Quirk.
Red Shirt (5/5):
Under all your armor you are wearing a red Star Trek security personnel
uniform. 100% chance to consistently die
at some major encounter – like Onyxia Phase 3 regardless of your talents.
Needed Class (2/2):
By playing a priest or some other under-populated class, people will let
you in their groups.
Gump’s Luck (5/5):
You are infused with the spirit of good fortune. 100% chance to end up being mysteriously
surrounded by great people in the guild.
LOOKS (10) Bald is Beautiful (5/5): +5% to running and riding speed from
aerodynamic efficiency. Save 100% on
hair care product expenses.
Wall of Anonymity (5/5): 100% chance to summon a
global computer network that allows you to use a cartoon avatar as your
identity in an MMORPG. Nobody knows you
are really a drooling, slack-jawed, knuckle-dragging troglodyte in real life.
EGO (10) Never Ending Ego (5/5): You’re smart enough, you’re
good enough, and gosh darnit you just like yourself!
Too Dumb to Know Better (5/5): That’s right.
It doesn’t matter how bad things really are, you just don’t know. Fortunately, you still think you know
everything.
