All-
I had to reinstall my game. What would you recommend to add to better
enhance my game play? Currently I am a level 38 Pally. I would like to
do this right. I was possibly misguided by someone outside the guild
before I deployed to Iraq. Help. I have downloaded Guild Event Manager,
but I am not sure as of right now, if I will be using it that
much.

Most of the ui mods I use relate to endgame raiding, so I they wouldn't really be necessary for you until you get close to level 60. Blizzard incorporated enough of the mod essentials over the past 2 years for basic game play IMO (like extra toolbars, etc.).
I'd highly recommend Guild Event Manager so that you at least stay in the loop about what's going on in the guild. There are events planned sometimes for characters under level 60.
Mods I recommend you try maybe:
CT_Mod It's a package of user interface modifications. It's pretty simple and doesn't create a lot of overhead. It has some nice features in it. I've been using this for a long time as my main staple. I like it better than Cosmos. CT_RaidAssist is part of the full package. You are pretty much required to have CT_RaidAssist for guild and SLACK raiding later on, so no harm in getting used having CT_Mod around.
ClickHeal This is nice for your paladin healing. It allows you to heal players by clicking their player frame with various key combinations for different spells. It really beats targeting them and then struggling for the quickbar key for each spell. I can't live without some type of "click-casting" mod anymore when I play a healer.
QuickHeal Another healing mod since you mentioned your paladin. This allows you to program a key on the keyboard as a sort of 1-key does all button mashing heal setup. You can make it more complicated than that, but that's the basic idea. The nice thing is that it will pick the most needy person in your group and pick the exact rank of spell that is most mana-efficient at getting the targeted player back to full health without overhealing. I don't like it for high-stress healing situations that need more control. It works fine for less intense battles (like clearing trash mobs).
Decursive This mod will pick someone in your group/raid that needs to be cured from a debuff, pick the correct spell in your spellbook, and then it cures them. Sometimes I like more control, but this mod is very popular. Paladins do a lot of cleansing. |

BTW - IE7 is protected against all those graphic-vector attacks -- it doesn't allow that ActiveX control into memory, supposedly.
And, speaking of which - it's coming down via Automatic Update! |

Meteos,
The two that will help you the most from here going forward are click to heal and decursive. guild event manager is good and having CTraid assist just to get used to using it.
Another one that becomes important in raiding, at least Ive heard is something called Pally Power. Dont know much about it, but you are a Pally so Ithought Id throw it out there.
Be sure to have your computer secure before doing any of this though. Virus protection, Patches (like Jureal pointed out) and spyware blockers. Due to the number and sources of the hacks to grab your account information I would say at any given time any of the sites you go to download these addins could be infected.
And as always be careful who you share your account information with, you never know what a person may be thinking or wanting to do.
