| Ive been skilling my priest up in mining and right now she is an enchanter so she can de things as she levels but I do plan on her doing jewel crafting. So hopefully I will be able to skill up quite a bit when the expansion finally hits. |

My little Shammy, Picabo, is working on her jewelcrafting so I can get a heads up on what will be needed to level it up so I can start stockpiling stuff now.
To start out with, you use copper bars and/or rough stone
At skill 30, you get something called Prospecting which works similar to DEing. You take 5 ore and prospect it to get gems out of it. Start off with Copper ore. So far I have gotten Shadowgems, Malacite, and Copper Dust out of the little bit of prospecting I have done (its hard to power level crafting when you have to mine all your materials first  ). When you prospect the ore, it does disappear (just like when you DE an item). |

| My dr00d Io, is also gonna be a jewelcrafter. She has about 10 stacks of jewels in her bank right now that I have been saving since I found out about jewelcrafting. I might switch Oryx to mining soon to start farming mats. |
