I would like to plan a 10 man Zul'Farrak run in the near future. I have several of the quests and would like some assistance in this endeavor. I realize everyone has a schedule of events they want to stick to and do not want to interfere with those schedules.
So i am thinking about working this around the weekly guild night event on wednesday. (assuming this would be doable) I know Kemel already has an event planned for next week so maybe a Sunday afternoon/night run would be better. Or any other day that does not cause a conflict with the Molten Core / Guild planned events.
If there isnt enough participation from level approiate people then i would not balk at lvl 60's going along. I do not want a run through because i would like to expierence this as it is meant to be.
I have 4 quests now but i still need to grab the hammer to ring the gong to spawn Gahz'rilla. (Scarab shells, Troll Temper, Divino-matic rod, and Gahz'rilla). Unless someone that would like to go along already has this gong.
I would like any and all feedback on this.
I would like to have this on Vent. so we can communicate and it will also give me some expierence in a group setting without reading/typing/killing.
Thank you for your entertainment on this and any participation will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Garrok

Zul'Farrak is an interesting dungeon. Well... I guess I like them all, but there are a couple cool scripted events there. The Ghazrilla event is fun. The best is the fight on the pyramid where you free the captives and then fight wave after wave of trolls along side the NPCs. It's quite thrilling in a level-appropriate group.
I don't have any characters in that level range, but I could maybe bring along someone. Only my priest has the hammer. It's a tough quest series that requires you to fight your way into the heart of the troll city in the Hinterlands and kill the priestess there at one point. That is an adventure in itself.
I am sure we can work this in some time. |

| Hey Garrok, I don't think you will be able to do the quests in a 10 man run. 5 man only...that being said....will you be on early enough tomorrow night to do this during big brother/big sister time? Since you don't have a 60 yet, you definately qualify and I have a couple of characters in that level range and would be glad to help you out and see if we cant get a group together for ya. |

| That's right. I forgot to mention that. I don't think you can even take 10 people into ZF anymore. I think it is 5-person only. |

Thanks guys for the input and interest!!
I wont be able to get home untill at least 6:30 so i'm not sure i'll be able to take advantage of the Big Brother/ Big Sister system portion of the evening.
But with the latest patch and its content I'm wondering if it might not be better to delay this untill later this week or weekend so as not to interfere with anyones plans that want to go and kill scourge.
Doh! I forgot about the level cap for instances from 10 to 5. That would make it tough for people my level. Maybe it would be better served if I forego the instance right now and get someone to go along and help get the mallet to ring the gong instead and schedule the instance untill later.
Thoughts and replys welcome!

I'm going to try and get the quest for the mallet so i can share with those who want it and those of you who want to help are certainly welcome. Since its so late in the week i'm going to try and go for the mallet monday night. I can wait till after the 60's event for that night. Or if anyone can do this earlier let me know and we'll get 'er dun. |

Well with a post with that much enthuseasm (how ever you spell it.... .... know what i mean) who can turn down help like that. I think the best approach will be to get the mallet first (if i can figure out how to do that) then we can tackle the instance on a day when everyone that wants/needs to go can. I'm thinking a weekend day/night might be better schedules allowing. What say you? Any thoughts............ |

Id say try to setup something in GEM, not near everyone checks out the forums. Most people do check GEM events though.
I would plan for either a Wed (Big Brother / Big Sister) evening or a Saturday morning afternoon. Also Sunday all day is pretty wide open too.
Mon Tues (Guild raids in ZG AQ20 and Ony) Thurs Fri Sat evenings (SLACK MC Ony and BWL raids). These times might be hard for fielding a group with a 60 or two if needed.

WoW is the best way to get wife aggro Ashallar (60 Pally -Alc), Vadik (5x Warrior) -members Aerili (5x Mage- Ench), Narisa (3x Rogue- LW), Blackfist (29 pseudo-twink)- not members yet. |

My little Priest is 46.5 and has all the quests in there, but I think Im a little low to go there yet. But Id like to get the feel for group healing (something I have not done much up to this point).
If you guys plan o a trip later this week or weekend. Ill continue to level up. Should be near 48 by the weekend as I have a ton of rested XP to burn up.

Im gonna throw up a GEM event for Saturday or Sunday depending on free time and see if we can get some folks together for this. I have a 49 Priest and that should be enough healing for most of it.
