I feel like I
have been living in some cave and just got a clue. I never knew
these things existed. They sound like great items to have on hand
for those really tough situations where "just a little more" would do
it.
Here are the notes I collected.
REPEATABLE QUESTS FOR PLANT
BUFFS
(These are on a separate timer from potions)
Cenarion Plant Salves can be
found a variety of ways. One way is through the use of a Cenarion
Beacon (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=2936).
You get a Cenarion Beacon from Arathandris Silversky (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?n=6547)
after completing the quest Cleansing Felwood (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?q=1240).
Having it in your possession make it possible to find Corrupted Soul Shards
(http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=2952)
on slain creatures of the Felwood.
These shards can be turned in to Arathandris Silversky. In return for 6
of them she will give you 2x Cenarion Plant Salve (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=2948).
You then take these Salves to the various corrupted plants around Felwood and
purify them. Once you have purified the plants you can loot them.

Use: Restores 394 to 456 mana and
394 to 456 health
Cooldown: 1 min

Windblossom Berries
Binds when picked up
Requires Level 45
Use: Restores 1933 health over 27 sec. Must remain seated while eating. Also
increases your Stamina by 10 for 10 min.
Cooldown: 1 sec
Charges: 1 (Expendable)

Source: Spell
- Corrupted Songflower
takes 2 salves to purify and grants you a blessing Songflower Serenade.
The blessing lasts 60 minutes and "Increases chance for a critical
hit by 5% and all attributes by 15."
There are, yes, other ways to obtain these salves for which the beacon is not
required:
Salve Via Skinning requires you to turn in Patches of Tainted Skin.
Salve Via Enchanting requires you to turn in Lesser Nether Essences.
Salve Via Gathering requires you to turn in Fel Creep.
Corrupted Night Dragon Plants Spawn at:
1st Location: 35,60
2nd Location: 50,30
3rd Location: 40,78
4th Location: 42,13
If you can see the plant in front of you and you've done the quest to get the
salves, but are unable to grab the plant, keep this in mind. Once the plant is
picked, it goes through a replenishing cycle...I heard it was 15 minutes or so
which is probably pretty close. Just wait next to the plant until you can
select it.
