Is anyone doing or has done many of the Heroic dungeons?
I'm about all geared out on my Rogue with PvP stuff. I could do more with the updated honor point items (Vindicator's vs Veteran), but those are pretty minor upgrades.
Anyway ... I was thinking of maybe getting back in to a little dungeon diving. There's nothing really for me to get from normal dungeons. I see 2 or 3 nice items i could get with badges though.
Three Main Questions:
1. How many badges do you get from the average heroic dungeon run? One item I want is 35 badges, another is a whopping 60! Only getting 3 badges a run seems like it would take a looooooooooooooong time (30+ runs?).
2. Which dungeons? What's your favorite? Are there any that are particularly bad?
3. Is anyone running these? I don't recall seeing people in them much.

I enjoy doing the heroic dungeons. You get one Mark of Honor per boss. Although if you do the Heroic "daily" then you get a bonus two upon completion. As an added side note, in Karazhan you get 2 marks of honor for each boss aside from the one from Midnight. Run a few Heroics and a few Karazhans and you'll be at 35 marks in no time! Heroic Mechanar is an old favorite for folks to hit because it's relatively short on trash mobs and you get 4 badges for a clear. I think there are interested folks... post it on GEM and they will come if the timing works out. (I'm definitely interested if it's a time I'm available) |

If you weren't such an old fuddy duddy you could come on the late night heroic shenanigens that consist of Wayway, OryxIoEnshalaa, Mkeyai and myself. We've completed just about every heroic out there, some are more painful than others. The quickest badge run I still think is Mechanar, although it's been dropped from a five to four badger. The badges do add up decently fast though, and if you can stand pugging it, you could probably get the items in no time. Side note, first boss in heroic Arcatraz? Ouchie, just ouchie. |

As mentioned before (examples below) Ramparts yields 3 badges Mechanar yields 4 badges (used to be 5) Botanica yields 5 badges **** (this one is always nice as a daily as it will give you 7 badges total) Just depends on the instance and the amount of bosses. Recently, Slave Pens and Underbog seem fairly mild on heroic and badges from there are not so stressful to obtain. And as mentioned before, Karazhan bosses (other than Attumen) boasts 2 badges each. So if you are able to attend two nights of Kara that is 12 badges or so for ya, plus whatever else you run during the week pre or post kara run. So until they started to drop badges in Karazhan, earning those suckers took a long time. A group of us nightly are usually looking for a 5th if anyone is interested; granted it is really late when I come home, but per se on the weekends you can catch us running a heroic. Malthazar, Mkeyai, Io, Wayanoru (and our 5th always changes) |

| Im up for any heroics you want to run. I got most of my badges from the Kara runs and maybe 3 from heroics. All I ask is that you dont ask me to main heal a heroics. Even at my best my heal just eeps by. I'm much better at regular instances as a healer. |
