Hey all, Just an FYI. The 6 year anniversary of my parents passing away is coming up and I have been really down about it as im now 21 and life feels really empty, so if I am not sounding very attentive, happy, energetic or just not in the mood to help in guild that would be the cause so no real need to worry. |

| Both parents at the same time? and you were around 15 years old? wow ... that's rough! Sorry to hear that bud. That is really a tough thing to deal with. Wait a sec ... 6 years ago coming up soon was the 9-11 attack. Did they die in that? If you want to talk about it here, that's fine. Or not. Either way, I hope you are ok. |

Sorry to hear that DV. That's totally rough; I had a buddy of mine back in HS lose both of his parents to cancer within 3 months of one another, and that can really mess with your head...I can't imagine. I do hope the extended family has provided coverage.
For what it's worth, we're here for you...and RL is always more > than in-game. But thanks for the heads-up...it's disturbing when people just drop off the face of Azeroth.
As for turning 21 - while alcohol may be be fun to play with - it is not your friend! It will say bad things about you behind your back. :o |

Wow DV...thats a difficult road. It's understandable why you would be down. My daughter is 16 and just lost her dad and is feeling the pain right now too. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and if you need anyone to vent to I'm here for you.

DV,
You said you life was feeling completely empty and I know that feeling. I just want you to know that I found out that sometimes when your life feels empty it really isn't. You have no idea the people who lives you touch just by being you exactly the way you are and you may never really know. I just want to you realize that what life feels like changes from time to time but that doesn't indicate what you life truly is. Your friends here in game and real life are here for you. You are someone a lot of people really care about. That alone may help at times. It's never easy losing a parent young (I know that from experience) and your circumstances are extraordinary - Just being who you are today shows that you have exceptional strength of character and are a really special person.
hang in there Saphyre |
