Yeah, we're keeping her near at least one of us at all times. I guess it makes it
easier knowing she's right there and you can check on her whenever you feel
that little paranoid ping hit. Sometimes we take turns napping out in the living
room with her just so the other one can get some decent (meaning 3-4 hours)
of actual sleep. Most of the time it works out, sometimes, when she's really
fussy we're not so lucky. Aroura thinks I have a magical touch since when she's
REALLY fussy, I tend to be able to calm her down enough to sleep or nurse.
Though I keep reminding her that she's the one providing the food, so really,
she's the one keeping her calm 90% of the time. I think we'll probably start
encouraging her to sleep in her own room after a 6 months or so goes by.
We'll see though. You really can't plan out how you want things to go, you can
only hope that what you want to happen sort've plays into whats really going
on.
Yep, we get to shower once in a while, which is a nice stress reducer. Elizabeth
apparently hates to take a bath. We gave her one a day before yesterday and
she freaked out and screamed louder than she ever has. She was calm at first,
but once we started washing her, she just didn't like it. Made her sleep like a
rock though, so now I know another way we might be able to get her to sleep
decently. heheh
I actually thought about how the pictures on the net might change her life. I
mean, if she does become our supreme ruler and conquer the galaxy, how will
people reflect on her baby pics found on the guild website. I guess since she's
the supreme ruler she could just have us all put to death and the website cleared
of any evidence. Then again, I'd have to scold her for even thinking of such an
idea and remind her that I raised her better than that.  |

It's good that you guys are holding up, and seeing Mom smiling and laughing is a great thing. Father's seem to have that magic touch early on, daddy's lil girl and all that jazz.
Yeesh I swear she's doubled in size since the first pics. |
