Radiohead's new album was released today as a download for a price of....what you want to pay. Zero dollars? 100 dollars? Whatever you feel. They are turning the record industry on it's ear so to speak with a marketing move that is genius in my opinion. Even if you just pay a couple of bucks, they probably see more money than going through the channels of the modern music conglomerate. They skipped the label and the industry with this move so watch and see history in the making. I hear Oasis and Jamiriqui (or however you spell it) just followed suit after the fact.

WOAH! :-) *Huge devious grin* I LOVE IT! I'm going to buy a copy and pay more than I would for a CD from a store. It's not even my style of music anymore, but I want to support the concept. |

That's pretty awesome; grats to them for picking up the flag of artist empowerment! I've seen a couple small artists do this, but I that's awesome that a mainstream band is championing it. |
