My wife, 8 dogs and I will be in Grand Rapids, MI at the Ultimate Sport and RV Show in Devos Place for doggie dock diving if anyone happens to be in the area.
The website for this show is http://www.showspan.com/USG/Home.aspx and we will be competing with Ultimate Air Dogs.  Not sure if there are any Hunters, Fisherman, RV'ers or other outdoor types in Res that live in the area but thought I would let you know.  Stop by and ask for Scott and Alisa or ask for the crazy people with too many dogs.
Looks like a fun place.  We will be jumping into a huge pool with live fish.  From what I understand, the pool is so large that they actually have boats on it and it is indoors!

I'm still working on that one Tref, but with the way things are at the corporate level right now I dont know how soon that is going to be. They are all trying to figure out how they are going to back pay their peon employees for the last 9 years that we have gone without a pay raise and union contract. It has been determined that we were due and they should have been giving it to us. Its a double edged sword for me. I get the pay raise and back pay, but not the job and the bigger pay raise that I was looking for. At least for now. We'll see what happens.

Nalz, think about how much fun it would be to caravan across the US with all of your puppies. I would bring them lots of dog treats...hehe

It figures you were in town the week I was in Florida to watch my Tigers during spring training.

I would have loved to have gone down and seen your dogs in action Nalz. Hopefully Grand Rapids treated you well and you might end up in the neighborhood again some day. I've actually been to a similar show down town a few years back...

Funny you would mention the Tigers.  Milt Wilcox, who pitched for the Tigers from 1977-1985, also runs the organization that we were jumping with in Grand Rapids.  Extremely nice guy.  I think he signed a few peoples cards and pictures that they brought to the show.  We didn't even know he was a major league pitcher until after we got to know him.
We had a blast in Grand Rapids.  The dogs jumped really well, our best jumper even jumped 23' 6" I think during a round of jumping.  Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to qualify us for the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge that is televised on NBC and/or ESPN (not sure which it is).  Not sure why we want to qualify since the ones that actually get there are jumping around 25'.

Wow! Those are some huge jumps. Its hard to believe that the ones qualifying were jumping even further. Did you get to take any more videos? Post them if you did, I'd like to see them :)

It was an indoor jump at DeVos Place (not sure if the capitalization is right on that).  Huge 90' x 40' pool with fish, boats and a dock.

I haven't gone through the video yet but here are some pictures of our boys.

Or if you are interested in more shots here is the link to all of them I took while there (or at least the ones that weren't so blurry that they made me feel sick).  So if you are bored or the game server is down, take a look.  I promise, I do take better pictures than these usually. Hard to get indoor digital photos under the lights they use in these places.

Thanks for sharing! They are very pretty dogs and I wish I could have been in the stands. Keep jumping! If you made 23' 6" there must be some 25' jumps in those dogs down the line... =D

Let us all know when the ESPN live coverage starts... or when you'll be in our neighborhoods again.

*salutes*
