.. because EQ2 in general looks dumb...
*this apparently is a video of an EQ2 pally* .. I got a friend who's pretty hell bent on getting me to play.. probably not gonna happen.

Well - given the credits...I would hope that this isn't a representative sample for the game. I have to agree that looking at the character models, there isn't much that looks appealing to the game, but supposedly the questing structure is where it's at. But I've never had even the remotest interest in trying the game, so I'm a bad one to comment. :) |

I'm just kinda tired of the EQ lore, personally. Its kind of where I came from.. - Way too, as you all know.. I just have zero interest in continuing on in that world.. it's got no personality to speak of. Atleast WoW doesn't take itself too seriously in some cases.. I mean, we got hidden nods to Legend of Zelda, Fraggle Rock, He-Man.. Transformers.. some of the quests have also been pretty entertaining. After all the stuff an EQ Paladin's been forced to deal with .. not being able to solo anything, not being able to get a group, dying and loosing experience, having to do corpse runs.. worrying that your body is going to rot and loose what gear you had at the time.. I'm quite done with my adventures on Norrath.. ;) |
