It's been a busy year with dog dock diving. We were invited to be on the Letterman Show August 4 with one of our dogs. My wife and one of our dogs named Colby was jumping outside of the studio in New York. Below is the link to the brief segment when he was on. You just might see my arm hand her the toy that Colby jumps for. The guest, Seth Rogan, also jumped in the pool trying to beat the dogs.

It was a lot of fun being in New York City with the dogs, other than a lot of difficulty finding anything that resembled dirt or grass for Colby to use as a bathroom. Not a good place to have dogs.
Our dogs were the centerpiece of about 30 pictures after the show as we were trying to walk back to our cars. They were celebrities. People were crowding around them trying to fit all their friends into the pictures. It was hysterical watching all these people, many speaking a language other than English, trying to get the dogs to look at the camera in just the right way. It is a good thing that 2 of the 3 dogs that were on the show are incredibly friendly and love all people.
I can't remember what Seth Rogan's jump distance was, maybe around 17'.
Next stop for the jumping crew, Destin Resort in Destin, FL. (Sept. 19-21). |

The show director wasn't real happy with my arm having to be in the segment but there is no way Colby was going to sit down for the interview if he could smell or see his jumping toy anywhere around him. My wife looks like I beat her after every weekend we go jumping. Bruises on her legs, arms, hands with the occasional scratch here and there. About 1 month ago at an event, our puppy jumped up and split her lip and almost broke her nose. Of course he doesn't look like a puppy, 90 pounds, bigger than all the other labs and 100% muscle. Things just clicked for him this weekend where he went from jumping 10' to 22'.
Ok, I know it is boring to listen to me talk about dogs. |

| Not boring at all! I am a huge doggie person. I have 3 of them myself and 2 cats and a goose. But the goose is evil and doesnt count. I'd talk about my kids all day long but get the deer in the headlight look more often than not...lol |
