Chocolate Mousse a la Gnel
EASY!
2 ingredients!
1 1/4 lb silken tofu
3/4 cup chocolate chips MELTED*
Best in food processor, but you can use a blender. Blend tofu to smooth paste, add melted chocolate and blend thoroughly. Pour into indiviual bowls and chill.
*if you don't have a double boiler to do this - improvise! A small metal bowl on top of a saucepan of boiling water is fine! I think I may have even melted them in the microwave once - but it's not the best method.
I have made this a few times - and I usually play with the recipe: more chocolate, some sugar, extract (almond, rum, whatever) .....be creative! You may really want to consider some sugar if trying for the first time.
You could even blend in some cool whip (wow that sounds good! and might take away some of the tofu taste) Would really make it much Mousse-ier!

Only comment for those who've never played with melting down chocolate anywhere near watter (i.e., double-boiler): DO NOT let ANY water touch your chocolate -- the chemical reaction un-melts it really stinking fast  |

| Yes - double-boiler is completely ideal whenever melting chocolate - either buy one or "make one". |
