If you play MMORPG's and have ever been to Ikea, you might get a kick out of this complete walkthrough -- how to survive Ikea written in gamer's language.

You're a lucky lucky man Seeker.  Hold on to that woman!

I've been to Ikea so many times, I think I could fight through that instance dungeon with my eyes closed and one dagger tied behind my back.

Most of the furniture in our house is from Ikea.  We don't go for the box-like post modern stuff they have though.  For the price, you'd be hard-pressed to find better quality furniture and home goods.  I have to hand it to them.  The bean-counter in me is all about the price! :-)

We still have some IKEA furniture. We loaded up on lots of it in college, and we've been trying to replace the stuff as it dies - piece by piece. And while the price, as Tref said, is just unbeatable, it is nice to see the amount of particle board decrease in our life.

My favorite IKEA item has to be the modular shelves, but my wife can't stand the stuff.
