I'm almost moved out, phase one of "Operation Evacuate Apartment" is complete.
This is the first time in almost a week, that I've been able to get on my pc. It's tragic, I know- everyday without some kind of tech interaction, a piece of me dies. =P Anyway, I thought I'd take the time to make sure eveyone had great Holiday!  I also hope you all have a great New Year!

Have fun, get xp, kill horde, and keep the Res-officers on their toes!

Laters,
-B

Hey guys, just thought I'd pop in and give an update. My account has run out- as of the 1-14.  To pass my time that I do have, I've been tinkering with Linux. I'm very happy with it; it's been a great learning something new. I'm also looking at a second job, probably weekend gig. YAY! Possibly less time to sleep, eat, and do other necessary things!!

If any of you are interested in my setup, I'm running SuSe10 x86_amd64 running Xorg and GNOME2. I've been trying to get my games running on here; a frustrating, though fun. So far, I've got WoW running- but only to the start up screen since I can't actually log on. I'm working on getting Valve's Steam (for Counter-Strike, Team Fortress Classic, and Half-Life 2) and Civ IV working. To do all this, I'm using Cedega (and a .org). It's fairly straight-forward, and I'm making a lot of progress; especially since the closest thing I've ever used to Linux is a DOS prompt to learn basic and make .bat files to create a single menu to run my favorite games (DUKE NUKEM & Wolfenstien among others :p) outside Win 3.1.

I have a screenshot of my desktop here

Now you need to go out and get the Mono CLR running on the machine.

Transgaming looks interesting. From the page, it looks like it's a subscription-based software; is that right?

$5 a month- it's the easiest solution... constant updates and easy to use.

I already have Mono-Core and Mono-Web =) .Net & ASP.Net are covered!
BTW- the Res website never looked/worked better than on Firefox+Linux.

You should see it on Windows Vista with MSIE 7.0
