oh! Any particular kind of hardwood? I have to say my favorites are the 100+ year old reclaimed woods (synthetic or otherwise), heart pine or cherry have to be the best looking flooring ever. I'm a sucker for rustic/damaged/aged styles of wood! ;)

Gah, You guys are going cause Shadow to want a Wii! The oldest is already explaining to me why he needs the "new Zelda" as he puts it. We already have five computers and four gaming systems in the house --- technology is running amok in my home ARRRGGGHHH! ok I feel better now.

neat on the ordering. We got ours from Nintendo too...although no delivery necessary. ;)

Bigshot and Beer - I'll add you when I get my Wii set back up. We're getting hardwood floors put in over the next week and a half, so the consoles have been disconnected from the TV and put down in storage until the installation, sanding, and finishing is done.

Oh snazzy. So how long will you wait until you re-enact that scene from  'Risky Business'?  Shame the carpet will be gone though, it looked good for post drinking sleeping.

In order of importance:

- Page 20: w00t!

- Wood Type: We're getting a white oak, it matches all the wood molding and doors and fireplace molding that the last owner left us with...and I'm trying to stop the fiscal bleeding [that starts when you begin making reonvations] as much as possible. It's a really nice wood - the stack of it [that is sitting where our dining room table had been] smells wonderful. It'll look better once it's in and stained.

- Risky Business: I do like to think Laura has a certain Rebecca Demornea-ness (Can I get a spell check on register 7 please?) about her...oh...you mean the Bob Seager moment? That's an idea - I do think I look much less offensive in tighty-whiteys than I did a couple months ago. Shall we have you over for our next Pantless Tuesday? :D

- Wii: The Wii's okay, but I still maintain the 360 is better - insert 360-is-better reasons #53, #75, and #423 here.

- Big Bird: We need to do another version of that with murlocs around him! :)

If folks are genuinely interested in the floors progress, I can link the pics from Flickr. :)

I already have plans to link them to my personal blog site, and it would be little additional effort to copy-paste a URL.
